  • Pre-Season Outlook

    The Browns drafted Tillman in the third round last season. Tillman started off slowly, catching three passes for 10 yards over the first seven games. However, near the end of the season, which is when Joe Flacco began to roll with the quarterback job, Tillman improved. Beginning in Week 12, Tillman posted at least 43 yards three times. The receiver certainly didn't dominate. That said, Amari Cooper and David Njoku were soaking up the majority of the targets. In the offseason, Cleveland traded for Jerry Jeudy. As a result, it seems likely that Tillman, at best, could settle in as the No. 3 receiver. Also, Flacco is no longer with the team, so Tillman will need to be productive with Deshaun Watson, which is no guarantee.
